TERNI (ITALPRESS) – Terni 2023 è stato un Mondiale da record per la scherma italiana nel settore paralimpico. Con 12 medaglie vinte (3 d’oro, 4 d’argento e 5 di bronzo), la spedizione azzurra ha superato il primato stabilito in un’altra edizione “casalinga” della kermesse iridata, Roma 2017, dove però nel programma c’erano due gare in più. L’Italia ha chiuso al secondo posto nel Medagliere per Nazioni dietro soltanto alla corazzata Cina. Straordinaria la prestazione della squadra italiana ed eccellente l’organizzazione ternana: nel nuovissimo PalaTerni si sono registrate circa 2500 presenze al giorno, con il picco di un sold-out da brividi nel sabato del titolo mondiale vinto da Bebe Vio Grandis.
