Dopo oltre 10 anni di crescita continua, interrotta solo dalla pandemia, si ferma la corsa dei liberi professionisti in Italia. Nel 2022 si attestano a 1.349.000 unità, segnando una flessione del 3,7% rispetto al 2021. Il bilancio diventa ancor più pesante se si considera che negli ultimi quattro anni circa 76 mila professionisti hanno abbandonato la loro attività, con una variazione negativa del 5%. E` quanto emerge dal “VIII Rapporto sulle libere professioni in Italia – anno 2023”, curato da Confprofessioni. Tra il 2018 e il 2022, infatti, il numero di occupati è cresciuto dello 0,6% ma è stato assorbito quasi esclusivamente dal lavoro dipendente, che aumenta di oltre 765 mila unità, a scapito di quello indipendente che nello stesso periodo perde 291 mila posti di lavoro. Tra il 2018 e il 2022 il numero di laureati che hanno scelto la libera professione è passato da 20.795 a 18.644, registrando un calo del 10,3%. All’appello mancano oltre 2 mila laureati, che hanno preferito un lavoro dipendente.
