ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Via libera del ministero dell’Ambiente e della Sicurezza energetica al progetto definitivo del secondo tratto del Tyrrhenian Link, il nuovo elettrodotto che collegherà la Sicilia con la Sardegna e la penisola italiana con un doppio cavo sottomarino lungo circa 970 chilometri. L’autorizzazione riguarda la tratta ovest, di circa 480 km, che unisce Termini Imerese, in provincia di Palermo, a Quartu Sant’Elena, nel Cagliaritano.
Per l’intera opera, il cui ramo est tra Sicilia e Campania è stato già autorizzato, Terna investirà nei prossimi anni circa 3,7 miliardi di euro coinvolgendo nella sua realizzazione 250 imprese.
